Are you finding yourself stuck, overwhelmed, or anxious/depressed? Have you been feeling like parts of yourself are reacting or responding to others and even yourself in ways that aren't you? Maybe you want to just be the best version of yourself and aren't sure how to start. I am confident I have tools to help. I will walk alongside you, patiently and respectfully, to help you achieve your overall self goals. I have worked with a wide variety of populations that carry shame and burdens of generational trauma. I am confident that people can change even if it feels impossible. The most important part of this process is that you are READY for change. If you are ready, I am ready to help you.
I started Growing Places Counseling in 2022 and have been working in the Harrison community therapeutically since 2018. I pride myself in investing in the most scientific and evidence based approached to help you reach your goals. If you choose to come to my service, I appreciate your bravery and desire to be a better human. After all, we can only change what we acknowledge to be real for us... which helps us become better individuals, partners, parents, and HUMANS. I help people with anxiety, depression, childhood or adulthood trauma, relationship/attachment issues, and many other reasons to come to therapy.
I have been trained in several modalities. I primarily use Emotionally Focused Therapy, Internal Family Systems, and EMDR. I enjoy working with a variety of clientele from kids, adults, couples, and families with or without traumatic experiences.
On a personal note, I am a wife, mother of four children, and enjoy using my green thumb during my off time. I also love reading and practicing cooking recipes, that may or may not be successful.

My focus is on striving to create a relationship of collaboration and trust with people, recognizing that they are experts in their own life and the author of their life story. I aim to provide a safe and authentic environment in which I use gentle approaches to help people untangle trauma and restore light and love to their relationships. I specialize in all kinds of trauma, with an emphasis on marital relationships, family conflict, addiction, communication skills, social skills, life review, aging, and grief work. I see couples, families, teens, and adults."
"I believe that people can absolutely be free from feeling stuck, stressed, and overwhelmed. They can find hope and enjoy healthy relationships again; they can reach for repairing in their lives instead of protections from their negative cycles. People can restore their natural ability to thrive and live in an authentic way with grace and dignity once more. It is an honor to help with this."
